We are very excited to present this shoot, as it was very heavily planned on our end and we love the results. We decided a few months ago to do a styled wedding shoot, simply for the sake of it. I have seen a number of them and always found them very beautiful. Our first thought was where to shoot it. Since it is was the winter in Minnesota, we didn't want to put models through the torture of subzero temperatures. We decided to shoot at the Minneapolis Photo Center, an absolutely gorgeous studio in Northeast Minneapolis. The style of the shoot was going to a vintage style and the brick and stone of the studio fit that very well. It gave a distressed look that contrasted the dresses perfectly. We kept the makeup light and decided to leave the models free of jewelry (against our original idea), which gave for a simplicity we loved.
Cassandra and Helena were our models. The two also contrasted one another very well, with two very different dresses and looks. While Helena was dressed in a vintage inspired strapless, backless gown, Cassandra had on a very romantic lace gown with a sweetheart bodice. Both dresses were lovely as could be and the models were both incredibly sweet and very good at what they did. We would love to work with either of them again, as well as any of the other vendors used in this shoot.
