Holly and Jim originally found us through Kyle's sister two years prior to their wedding, making them the first of our clients booking that far in advance. It was strange to have so many weddings in between their booking and wedding, so when we finally got to work with them, it was a lot of fun. They had their wedding in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on a beautiful fall day. It was one of those dates that may be nice or ice cold, depending on Mother's Nature's attitude, and everyone lucked out that day. One of the highlights of the day was the fact that they work at a correctional institute with Kyle's sister in Wisconsin, so the majority of the people at the wedding worked with them, including the maid of honor. At the ceremony, the handcuffed one another together, only to have Holly unlock them once they were married. The theme extended onto the maid of honor's awesome speech at the reception, when she put on her full work belt. If you see below, you will see that we hung the rings on Holly's cuffs (and yes, they were very real). If you were to check out their engagement photos, you will see that they are both huge Chicago Blackhawks fans, despite living in Chippewa Falls. They had their hockey jerseys on when they entered the reception and then hung them above the head table. Being hockey fans ourselves (not Chicago) we loved the whole hockey theme. It was really fun.
Thank you to the following vendors for making this day fantastic:
