Jennifer & Eric - Stillwater Wedding Photography
Stillwater wedding photography, by RKH Images. Jennifer and Eric were married at the Arcola Mills Mansion in Stillwater, MN on May 16, 2015. We were incredibly excited to shoot this wedding, as we had done the engagement session with this couple practically a year prior and had been waiting for it for quite some time. After meeting with the couple for a second consult weeks prior to the wedding, we were as excited as if it was our own wedding.
Being May in Minnesota, it was a rainy month, and a very rainy one this year. Thunderstorms were predicted for the entire day all throughout the preceding week and everyone was planning for that. No one wants rain on their wedding day, especially when it is an outdoor one that you have been vigorously planning for a year. So it was something that was weighing on the minds of all involved. Yet, somehow, not only did it not rain, it was a beautiful day. Perfect, actually, for the wedding. It was just the right temperature so that no one was overheated or cold.
The venue made for a traditional colonial feel. I would highly recommend that mansion to anyone looking for a beautiful and we secluded venue. The bride and groom were wonderful people, as well as their families who were so thankful to us for making the day great for them. After putting in nearly twelve hours of work that day, we were extremely tired, but it was so much fun. Thank you so much to Jennifer and Eric for choosing us as your wedding photographer.
